General product information
Snowhite 50 & 65 is a high brightness, medium particle size, calcined kaolin. It has moderate oil absorption and water demand. Snowhite 50 & 65 incorporates readily into solvent and water-borne coatings, where it imparts titanium dioxide extension. Because of it medium-coarse particle size, provides good sheen control and excellent scrub resistance.Snowhite 50 & 65 is used in polymers to provide stiffness, dimensional stability and good electrical properties. Because the product has been heat treated at a high temperature, Snowhite 50 & 65 also offers good heat and chemical resistance and a low moisture control.
Snowhite 80 is a high brightness, very fine particle size, calcined kaolin. It has high oil absorption and water demand. Snowhite 80 incorporates readily into solvent and water-borne coatings, where it imparts titanium dioxide extension. Because of it fine particle size, provides very good sheen control and good scrub resistance.
Snowhite 80 is used in polymers to provide stiffness, dimensional stability and good electrical properties. Because the product has been heat treated at a high temperature, SnowhiteTM 80 also offers good heat and chemical resistance and a low moisture control.
