MCR 95 ac ...ts as a multifunctional additive in water based paints. MCR 95 increases and regulates pH while improving pigments dispersion. Using MCR 95, while eliminating completely ammonia from the formulation, provides a low odor product with excellent anticorrosion properties. Incorporating MCR 95 in the grind optimizes other ingredient levels to maximize performance and minimize cost!
MCR 95 neutralizes acid groups in alkyd based paints, allowing emulsification of significant quantities of water in solvent based paint. Important volatile organic components (VOC) and cost reductions are simultaneously achieved!! Using MCR 95 introduce up to 30 % of water to the paint, easily and without changes in process or machinery, obtain a similar dry film with cost reductions of 20 % or more!
MCR DRIER is a cobalt free chelating *d on a Manganese drier complex, is highly recommended for oxidative drying urethane alkyd lacquers with light hue requirements. MCR DRIER is specially designed to replace cobalt drier where cobalt develops undesirable dark brown hue, caused by cobalt-urethane complexes.
