Centennial Chemicals ('CentChem'), a Malaysian company, was established in 2007 to serve the chemicals sector through trading and consultancy services. In 2008 it set up a Singapore office in anticipation of the growth of its operations in the region in 2009 and beyond.
The company is currently involved in the biocides, agrochemicals and specialty chemicals areas, connecting users and suppliers in long term commercial and strategic Chem works hand in glove with its partner based in Shanghai, China for sourcing of chemicals from the Chinese hinterland.
CentChem also has agreements with Asian and Latin American companies for business consultancy services.
The supply of Biocides for the coatings sector is getting to be well established, with a wide range of international paint companies an ...d system formulators as its customer base.
The focus of the Agrochemicals business is in Latin America where CentChem, in tandem with its Chinese partner, is working with Brazilian and Argentine companies to set up permanent supply chain routes into these markets.
CentChem also has a range of Flame Retardants which is still a fledgling business and which it is looking to develop.
