DESCRIPTION:
Sensaire Epiguard HB Top Coat is a twin pack high builds epoxy polyamide based topcoat containing inert pigments. It is recommended as a final coat in an epiguard system, for harsh marine and *ACTERISTICS:
o High build in single coat.
o Excellent resistance to fresh and salt water
o Abrasion resistance and flexible films.
o Excellent inter-coat adhesion.
o Resistant to solvents
o Resistance to mild acids, alkalis, oils and chemicals
AREA OF APPLICATION:
o Coating for long term protection for structural steel, concrete surface and internal lining of edible oil tanks, and fuel tanks.
o Suitable for marine installations, power plants, fertilizers, hospitals, laboratories, etc.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Structural Steel:
Sensaire Epiguard HB Top Coat is recommended as a final coat in an Epiguard system. Surface preparation is pre conditioned for an optimum performance of the system. The surface to be top coated must be free from all surface contaminates like dust, dirt grease or any other * the previous epoxy coat is more than 15 days cured at 35oC, single coat of epoxy tie coat is recommended to achieve proper *rete Surface:

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Brush / Roller:
Sensaire Epiguard HB Top Coat can be diluted up to10% by volume with Sensaire THINNER # 805, to get smooth brushing. In very hot climates Sensaire Epiguard Retarder Thinner can be used up to 5% by volume to get smooth *ess Spray:
Nozzle orifice 0.019' - 0.022'
Nozzle Pressure 1800 Psi - 2300 Psi
APPLICATION CONDITION:
o Do not apply if humidity is 95% or above and it is condensing
o Application is only recommended if the temperature of the substrate should be 10?C and min. 3?C above the dew point of the air measured at pain application site.
