BERLING S.A. is a Greek paint manufacturing company, with headquarters and production facility in a newly established plant in Inofita, Greece. The company mainly involves in the production and distribution of paints and varnishes. Specifically BERLING S.A. produces a wide range of eco-labeled paints, emulsions, acrylics, waterborne paints and varnishes, isolating paints, wall primers, anticorrosive, wood and metal undercoats, enamels, wood protective stains, wood varnishes, decorative and epoxy products as well as paints and varnishes for furniture.
BERLING's profound interest on environmental issues resulted to focusing the scientific research on the development of ecological products, starting with the first eco-labeled product in Greece: water based paint «Petite», that ...was awarded with the Community's Eco-Label in June 1998. The R&D focuses on the continuous development of eco-labeled and environmental friendly products. The company's commitment to quality is also reflected through the establishment and implementation of an ISO 9001 quality assurance system. The company has also been certified by a legal certification body for the establishment and implementation of ISO 14001:2004 and EMAS EK 761/2001.
